Green Meadows Course
:: Course Pictures
Green Meadows Golf Course is an 18 hole, 6391 yard, par 70 layout with a 116 slope and a 68.6 stroke ratings from the blue tees.

The front nine has a creek meandering thru it on six of the nine holes. Club selection could be a key element on holes #1, #5, #7, and possibly #4 & #9 off the tee. The front nine has a nice blend of three par 5's, three par 4's, and three par 3's. There also is a pond adjacent to holes #5 and #6 which could come into play. This side plays to a par 36.

The back nine also has a creek running thru it, coming into play with four holes. Here too club selection is critical on holes #12 and #16 off the tee and the second shot on the par 5 #10 hole. What's interesting on this back nine is that every other hole is a par 3, giving it a total of four par 3's. Sound easy, but with hole #11 at 228, #13 at 220, and #17 at 199 from the blue tees, it could make or break you on the back. This side plays to a par 34.

We have very nice practice green adjacent to the clubhouse which is open to public to practice putting and chipping. It is manicured to that of the playing greens on the course.

The signature hole on the course is the dog leg right, par 5, hole #12, which is 563 yards from the tips. Off the tee there are woods on your left stretching 220 yards butting up to the creek which comes into play in front of you. If you choose to do so, from the white tees, you need to drive the ball 220 yards, in the air, to carry the water. Typically you're playing into the prevailing southwesterly winds, so the second shot is also very critical, trying to reach the dog leg for your approach shot. The hole has out of bounds the entire left side up to the dog leg while the right has an in-the-course out of bounds from the creek to the green. The green is large and has a sand bunker on its front right side, making you think before cutting the tree lined dog leg. You will enjoy this challenge.
